The Brief

Floss’d is a quirky family-run candy floss making business that has been recently updated with a new e-commerce platform. We created a brand new website for them that provides their customers with the ability to purchase products online and have them delivered directly to their front door.

The challenges involved were to create a bespoke ecommerce solution to streamline Square payments into an custom made invoicing system, whilst also integrating a custom shopping cart experience that was unique to Floss’d.

Branding Update

The client already had a beautifully developed brand and style guide to work with, which made our job easy. However, their website's former layout was outdated, slow-performing and required a modern upgrade along with their customer onboarding process. We re-created the website layout from the ground up, adding in responsive design elements and ensuring their brand identity was consistently displayed throughout the entire site to their visitors.

Custom onboarding & Shopping expierience

The client’s former website had an outdated shopping cart system that was not mobile-friendly and did not provide a good user experience, leading to abandoned carts and low conversion rates. They also needed a way to streamline the communication of quotes and invoices to their clients.

We put our heads together and created a custom shopping cart solution especially designed for the customer’s shopping experience and made it more mobile-friendly. We also created an automated management system for quotes and invoices that made it easier for the client to communicate with their clients.

This solution has helped the client to increase sales overnight and improve overall customer satisfaction. A win-win!

API Eccommerce Solutions

It was important for this client that they were able to integrate the Square payments API with Wordpress Woocommerce to automate creation of quotes and invoices for bulk orders without activating an auto-payment system. We created this integration which drastically reduced admin time and gave the client exactly what they needed: a perfect solution for a problem that was causing headaches both for the client and their customers.

Conclusion & Results

Overall performance of the website improved and created a large in increase of ROI. Sales increased and the admin hours decreased significantly. This resulted in better business and a streamlined workflow.
